Typological Exegesis
The wisdom required to understand the Bible is that visible, physical phenomena recorded in Scripture reveals and precedes the invisible, spiritual things of God (Rom 1:20 & 1 Cor 15:46). All events recorded in the Bible constitute the actual shadow of bringing many heirs of God to glory. This means that the Bible can only be understood through typology and the practice of typological exegesis. It cannot be understood using historical exegesis, or precept-upon-precept exegesis. Both of these reading strategies magnify carnality, and both stand diametrically opposed to typology. Both will cause their adherents to accept the mark of the beast and the wrath of God. Both will cause adherents to curse God and to be cast into the lake of fire.
Typology stands opposed to the allegorical understandings of Alexandrian scholarship; it stands opposed to the understandings of preterists, and to the understandings of all who believe in a pre-Tribulation rapture. It recognizes Israel as the only holy nation of God, and the only nation on earth when the Holy Spirit is poured out upon all of humanity. As such, circumcised Israel forms the visible, physical shadow of this endtime holy nation of Israel. The greater Christian Church forms the invisible, spiritual shadow of endtime Israel – and since both are the shadow of the same reality, the history of circumcised Israel reveals the invisible history of spiritual Israel in the supernal realm.
Through typology, all of the Bible can be understood as the relevant revelation of what will happen to endtime Israel when the harvest of the earth is reaped (Rev 14:15).
